Shane Coleman

Shane Coleman is an award-winning broadcaster and presenter of the hugely popular Newstalk Breakfast show. He is also a weekly columnist for the Business Post. He has previously presented Ireland AM and is a regular on RTÉ 1’s Today Show. He has been one of the country’s leading current affairs journalists over the past two decades. He is a former Political Editor and Business Editor of the Sunday Tribune and the author of four best selling books, including ‘Bertie Ahern and the Drumcondra Mafia’ and ‘Scandal Nation’.

Shane is a hugely experienced presenter and a regular MC/host at conferences, seminars and award ceremonies. He has an easy, conversational and inclusive style that is particularly expert at putting speakers/guests at ease – encouraging debate and conversation. He is also adept at hosting ‘fireside chats’ with speakers including Paul McGinlay, aspiring astronaut Nora Patten and Micheál Martin.
