Julie Jay is a former-múinteoir and current comedian, columnist (The Irish Examiner) and experienced MC who, when not opening yoghurts for small people, loves getting out of the house and doing sexy things like buying new mop heads and posting mass cards.
Winner of the First Fortnight Award at the Dublin Fringe 2022, her sell-out ‘Oops, This is Toxic’ earned her huge praise (“rambunctious, raucous riffs” – ****The Irish Times). Julie is also a familiar face on both the Irish festival and comedy club scene and has also toured her own solo comedy shows nationwide to great acclaim.
A regular contributor on 2fm, Today fm, Newstalk and RTÉ Radio 1, Julie also is a frequent guest on the Six O’Clock Show, The Today Show, and Ireland AM.
