Jarlath Regan is one of Ireland’s most popular comedians, a bestselling author, award-winning podcaster and — thanks to several hundred million views online — perhaps the world’s leading authority on Irish mammies.
His razor-sharp observations on family, marriage and Irish life have helped him sell out theatres across Ireland, the UK, US, Canada and Australia, while his annual residency at Dublin’s iconic 3Olympia Theatre has become a fixture of the Irish comedy calendar.
Patrick Kielty calls him “a comedy master at work,” while The Irish Times described him as “comedy genius.”
Jarlath is also the creator of the hugely successful Irishman Abroad podcast and author of The Gobshite Guidebook, Ireland’s bestselling humour book of both 2025 and 2026.
His new show CRAIC POT continues an extraordinary run of five completely new stand-up tours in five years. Touring throughout 2027, it finds Jarlath doing what he does best — turning family, middle age and the everyday madness of modern life into 90 minutes of relentlessly funny stand-up.
2027 also marks ten years since Jarlath donated a kidney to his brother — another remarkable chapter in a career, and life, built around finding the funny side of almost everything.
“A subtle yet sublime helping of observational wit” ★★★★★ — The Herald
“I forgot what it felt like to cry in public, through laughter.” — The Irish Post
