Jacqui Hurley is one of Ireland’s leading sports broadcasters and author of the bestselling children’s book series Girls Play Too.
In 2009, she became the first ever female anchor of Sunday Sport on RTÉ Radio One. She now presents RTÉ’s rugby coverage on television and has recently been announced as the new presenter of the Sunday Game. She has anchored all of the major sporting events, including the Olympics, World Cups, the Euro’s & multiple All Ireland finals.
Jacqui was awarded the Jimmy Magee Sports Journalist of the Year Award in 2022. Jacqui is one of the first female sports presenters on RTÉ, breaking barriers in a male-dominated industry. She wrote “Girls Play Too,” promoting female athletes and inspiring you girls to pursue sports.
