Louise Duffy
Louise Duffy is one of Ireland’s brightest radio and television broadcasters. As an IMRO award winning host of Lost In Music, her long-running radio show from 7-9pm on Today FM, she is also in demand as a DJ and event host.
Louise has also hosted The 7 O’Clock show on TV3 every Friday evening interviewing a variety of famous Irish faces. She was also the host of TV3s coverage of the Irish Film and Television Awards in 2015. Working with the GAA, Louise hosts their Facebook Live broadcasts ahead of All Ireland final matches and All Star Awards interviewing a host of names from the world football and hurling. Aside from radio and television, Louise is known for her exceptional personal style and is coveted partner for many fashion brands and retailers. She has hosted many fashion fundraisers, lunches and live shows for brands including The G Hotel, Galway Races.
As a DJ she has hosted live events for brands such as Jimmy Choo, Eir, Brown Thomas and Arnotts, curating a specific playlist to suit each particular event. Her reputation in the live event space continues to soar both here in Ireland and beyond. Last May she hosted a Mayo GAA Foundation fundraising dinner for 400 people at New York’s famed Cipriani on Wall Street. Dignitaries in the night included former Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
Outside of the production and presentation of her radio shows, Louise has interviewed many of the worlds biggest names in music from Brandon Flowers to James Bay and Ed Sheeran. Her love of music and culture means she is constantly aware of new movements in music and media and is widely credited with being the first to break a string of new music acts from the phenomenally talented break out act Picture This to Chasing Abbey and DC Fontaines.
Away from the studio space Louise has broadcast and reported from every live music festival in Ireland from Electric Picnic to Longitude.
