Joe Molloy

Presenter and Broadcaster

Joe now works for the Irish Independent where he is lead presenter on their new suite of sports podcasts which launched in October 2024 and has also presented the Virgin Media Television rugby coverage – the Six Nations and Rugby World Cup – since 2018.

He worked in various roles at Newstalk 2008 to 2024; he was a researcher and a producer on sports and current affairs radio. Joe also presented the ‘Off the Ball’ sports show on Newstalk for over a decade.

Joe has been named the IMRO National Radio Sports Broadcaster of the Year on 7 occasions over the past decade.
