Evanne Ní Chuilinn, from Kilkenny, has worked as a sports Broadcaster with RTE for more than 20 years.
She has travelled extensively as a sports journalist to various World and European Championships, and Olympic and Paralympic Games. Evanne most recently hosted RTE’s coverage of the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games. She previously worked on TG4 & #39’s sports programming and is a fluent Irish speaker.
In 2016, Evanne completed a Masters in Sport Management, and produced a research paper on the topical issue of trust restoration in the governance of competitive sport. She was awarded Best TV Programme (Oireachtais na Gaeilge Awards) in October 2020 for her TG4
documentary on the history of adoption in Ireland.
In 2023 Evanne published her first book, ‘The Great Irish Book of Gaelic Games’. She is a proud Mum to Séimí, Peigí, and Teidí, and lives in Dublin with her husband Brian.
